The 4-filament Monolateral Heating machine mod. MINIMILLEx4,
was projected and built to heat plastic materials like polymethylmethacrylat (PMMA),
polycarbonate (PC), polystyrene (PS), and other, to bend them without internal
or external striations and/or burnings.
The MINIMILLEx4 has the undisputed advantage to have a well delimited irradiation area,
this allows to make 4 contemporary plies and to control the ray size.
A simple adjusting system of the radiating area is assembled on the machine;
such system acts also like support of the sheet.
The distinctive feature of this bench machine is that it can remove cooling units and
put them as more useful as possible to have the smaller distance between plies.
Exploiting such feature, the machine can be configurated in 2 extreme solutions:
